Special bends for the pneumatic conveying systems
In the pipings of pneumatic conveyors, we primarily use flanged pipe bends. In the bends, we usually use back reinforcement to increase the bend’s life cycle. The bends also always contained a straight section which also contains the reinforcement.
The benefits of a pipe bends include, for instance, the bend’s inner diameter which is always the same as in straight pipes. The pipe bends are delivered flanged, equipped with steering flanges and an O ring sealing, exactly as straight pipes. In this case, there are no ‘notches’ due to wear inside the pipes and bends.
The most commonly used pipe bends are 90 or 45 degree pipe bends, but they can be tailored for all possible needs.
We also manufacture so-called ball bends in which the material to convey creates a protection from wear on the back of the bend.
Upon request, we also deliver pipe bends reinforced with Densit or aluminium oxide, or pipe bends made of basalt.
