Wet unloading equipment for the fly ash
Pneuplan has comprehensive solutions for the material processing of the fly ash from power plants. Wet unloading devices for ash silos are part of Pneuplan’s competencies.
Wet unloading procedures
Unloading fly ash from silos many carried out using either wet or dry unloading procedures. In wet unloading procedures, fly ash is dampened using a wet unloading device. The wet unloading device may also be called a vaporiser. When dry ash is run through the vaporiser, a small amount of water is mixed with it. Dampened non-dusting ash is unloaded directly from the vaporiser on a vehicle platform, after which it may be transported to be reused or deposited. In dry unloading procedures, dry ash is unloaded using dry unloading equipment. Dry unloading procedures are usually carried out using a combination of a rotary feeder and loading bellows for loading into a bulk vehicle.
